How our left luggage works

Book online and choose your drop-off and pick-up times and how many small and large bags you have. You get a confirmation email with a QR code straight away.

Bring your bags to 329 Grays Inn Road and show the QR code. Our staff tag each bag and put it in the storage area under CCTV. When you come back, show the same code and your bags are handed back to you. That is it — no lockers, no codes to remember, no queue behind a station counter.

Left luggage in the station or a shop nearby?

St Pancras has an official left-luggage counter on the concourse, and it is handy if you only have minutes. Station counters usually charge more per item and can have a queue when several trains arrive at once. A shop a few minutes’ walk away is often cheaper, and booking means your space is reserved.

If you are travelling with several bags, or leaving them for more than a day, the difference adds up quickly. Compare before you choose — our full price is always shown before you pay.

When people use left luggage here

The usual reasons: arriving on an early train before hotel check-in; checking out in the morning with a late train home; a day of meetings with a suitcase you do not want to drag along; or a concert or match in the evening before a night train. We open at 7:00am and close at 23:59, so most of these fit in a single day.

What you can leave with us

Suitcases of any size, rucksacks, cabin bags, holdalls, shopping bags and odd-shaped items are all fine. Small bags (backpacks, cabin bags, totes) are priced from £1.99 per day and large bags (check-in suitcases, long holdalls) from £3.99, so a family with mixed luggage only pays the large rate for the big cases.

For everyone’s safety we cannot accept illegal items, hazardous materials, perishable food that may spoil, or anything that puts staff or other customers at risk. Keep passports, tickets, medicines and anything you need for the day with you rather than in a stored bag.

Finding the shop

We are at 329 Grays Inn Road, London WC1X 8PX, under a blue St Pancras Luggage Storage sign. From King’s Cross, leave towards Euston Road, cross onto Grays Inn Road and walk for about two minutes. From St Pancras International it is a few minutes more along the same route. If you get turned around, call or WhatsApp the shop and staff will direct you.
